Reporting to the Culinary Manager, the role requires a Food Handler's Certificate; Red Seal certification is preferred. Experience in large-quantity food preparation and knowledge of therapeutic diets are essential, and the ability to

• Knowledge of large-quantity food preparation and therapeutic diets is required.
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver all foods for residents, guests and employees.
• Review menus and production sheets; serve meals attractively.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques at all times.
• Complete daily temperature audits for fridge, freezers and storerooms.
• Prepare and serve foods for therapeutic/special diets.
• Follow production charts and recipes within budget.
• Comply with regulations and dietary department policies.
• Participate in planning for special occasion and theme meal days.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Uphold resident rights and participate in Quality Improvement.
