Job summary

Killam Apartment REIT is seeking a part-time cleaner for our St. John’s properties, approximately 25 hours per week. You will work on-site at multiple locations, maintaining cleanliness of common areas and performing routine janitorial duties with dependable transportation.

Strong organization and communication skills are essential to coordinate with Property Managers. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus an annual incentive, health and dental plan, employee unit

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role or customer service is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven communication skills, both written and oral.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste.
• Wash windows and interior walls.
• Pick up garbage.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair.
• Other duties as required.
