Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Barrie, ON, is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare nutritious meals for children, breakfast, lunch and snacks. You will organize orders, follow weekly menus, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the kitchen while respecting dietary restrictions.

Pay Range: $17.60 - $18.00 per hour

Additional Information: Must have Food Handler certification and prior cooking experience with strong awareness of allergies and dietary restrictions.

What will you be doing?

As a Cook, you will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Organizing orders for bulk food weekly and daily shopping as needed.
• Preparing meals from a set menu with recipes provided weekly.
• Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per Public Health requirements.
• Understanding dietary restrictions in centre for individual children.
• Washing dishes after meals.
• Other duties as assigned.
