Job summary

BrightPath Kids on Queen Street, ON is hiring a part-time kitchen role from 8 AM to 4 PM, with no evenings or weekends. You will organize orders for bulk food, prepare meals from a weekly menu, maintain safety and sanitation per Public Health guidelines, and assist with dietary restrictions and dishwashing.

The position supports the Busy Bees childcare community with competitive pay and benefits, including a childcare discount.

Qualifications

• Effective time management skills.
• Experience cooking for large groups would be an asset, with at least 3-5 years experience.

• Preparing meals from a set menu with recipes provided weekly.
• Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per Public Health requirements.

Requirements:

• Food Handling Certification
• Meet province requirement for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and Infant Child CPR
