Job summary

Canna Cabana Ajax is seeking a Part-Time Shift Leader to support store management, lead the team on shift, and deliver outstanding customer service. The role prioritizes sales, safety compliance, and staff development in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

The successful candidate will hold CannSell certification, pass a police background check, and bring 2+ years of retail experience with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• CannSell certification required to work in a retail cannabis store.
• Police Background Check must be completed or be able to obtain.
• Demonstrated sales and service orientation is required.
• Minimum 2 years of retail experience; cannabis industry preferred.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Must be able to train and motivate staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work any shift, including nights, holidays, weekends, and different locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store operations on shift and assist store management.
• Oversee duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Guide and train store staff; model exemplary customer service.
• Ensure store standards, health and safety policies are followed.
• Help manage staff levels to meet business needs.
• Drive sales and achieve store KPIs, including inventory control.
