Vancouver City Savings Credit Union is hiring a Financial Services Representative for our Commercial Drive Community Branch. You will be the first point of contact, helping members with everyday banking needs and guiding them toward suitable products. The role emphasizes relationship-building, accuracy, and compliance.

The position is part-time, on-site, reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager. Schedules may include weekends and branch hours vary by location; prior retail or service experience

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional Communication Skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or service roles.
• Sales-oriented mindset with goal-driven approach.
• Digital confidence with technology and online banking tools.
• Attention to detail and adherence to compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Understand member needs by exploring everyday banking, borrowing, investments, and protection.
• Provide guidance and connect members to the right products or specialists.
• Teach members to use online tools and self-serve options.
• Own interactions; follow through on commitments and provide timely updates.
• Maintain professionalism and follow policies to mitigate risks.
• Ensure accurate documentation of interactions and hand-offs.
