Vancity, located in Vancouver, seeks a Financial Services Representative to greet members, understand their needs, and guide them to suitable banking solutions. This full-time role is based at our West End Community Branch (Branch 47) and reports to the Assistant Branch Manager.

You will help members achieve their goals with a sales-driven, advisory approach, while staying compliant and delivering excellent service. Training and a path for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build trust.
• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or service roles.
• Sales orientation with goal-driven attitude.
• Digital confidence with CRM and digital banking tools.
• Attention to detail and compliance awareness.

Responsabilités

• Greet members warmly and build trusting relationships.
• Assess member needs across everyday banking, borrowing, investments, and protection.
• Guide members to suitable products or specialists.
• Teach members to use online tools for self-service banking.
• Follow through on commitments and coordinate with other teams.
• Maintain professionalism and follow up for satisfaction.
• Adhere to policies to stay compliant and mitigate risks.
