Job summary

Assemble panels and related parts at Silent-Aire Limited Partnership in Nisku, Alberta. The role requires proficient use of hand and power tools, reading blueprints is an asset, and safe operation of lifting equipment as needed.

You will unload incoming materials and load finished goods, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Team collaboration with supervision and adherence to 5-S and safety standards is essential, with potential use of forklift or overhead crane if trained.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment safely and responsibly in a manufacturing setting.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members and supervisors.
• Capable of managing time and daily tasks efficiently.
• Identify defects and maintain quality during assembly.
• Understand materials, methods, and tools used in assembly processes.
• Work independently and follow daily work schedules.
• Adhere to workplace safety and lifting procedures.
• Able to lift/move equipment and supplies over 40 pounds consistently.
• Read a tape measure in feet and inches and perform basic fractional math.
• Reading blueprints is an asset and helpful for accuracy.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane if trained.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panels and parts per schematic under supervision.
• Use small hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, grinders).
• Unload incoming materials and load finished products for delivery.
• Maintain and organize equipment and workspace; report malfunctions.
• Assist with safety and 5-S program compliance and housekeeping.
• Move materials using forklift or crane if trained and authorized.
• Support team leads and supervisors to progress projects safely.
• Identify unsafe conditions and follow safety policies.
