Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies is hiring for a full-time seasonal Painter at Fernie Alpine Resort. The role reports to the Building Maintenance Manager and requires clear communication, physical fitness, and comfort with heights.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cleaning surfaces, sanding, scraping, dusting.
• Removing old or failed wallpaper, paint, stain
• Repair cracks and holes
• Apply paint to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces
• Use masking tape or other materials to protect surfaces not being painted
• Apply paint by brush, roller, spray, or other methods
• Clean equipment and tools before leaving the job site
• Follow Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook policies and safety procedures
• Perform other related duties as required.

We are looking to fill the full-time seasonal position of Painterat Fernie Alpine Resort. Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, theideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, physically fit, andcomfortable with working at heights. You Will

• Knowand follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program.
• Knowand comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-WorkPrograms.
• Performother related duties as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive wage: $20.00-23.00/hour
