Job summary

NHSGGC in Glasgow is seeking an Admin Assistant for Paediatric Audiology based at the Royal Hospital for Children on the QEUH site. The role is part-time, 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with some flexibility for annual leave coverage.

You will handle telephone enquiries, appointments, patient database input, and distribution of reports and clinic letters. Essential skills include good communication, MS Office proficiency, and experience in direct contact with the public.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in direct contact with the public.
• Good listening and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality administrative support for Paediatric Audiology.
• Handle telephone enquiries, appointments, scanning and data entry.
• Distribute reports and clinic letters, and post batteries and hearing aid supplies.
