NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a part-time Admin Assistant for Paediatric Audiology based at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow on the QEUH site. The role is 27.5 hours per week, with responsibilities including telephone enquiries, appointment scheduling, and patient database entry.
The successful candidate will be computer literate with MS Office skills, have prior experience in a public-facing role, and be flexible to cover annual leave.

The post of Admin Assistant for Paediatric Audiology is based at Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow on the QEUH site and is part-time for 27.5 hours a week.
It is essential that the post holder be a well-spoken, good listener, good communicator, be computer literate (Various patient databases used where training will be provided and be familiar with MS office), and have worked in a direct contact role with the public before.
The role will include dealing with telephone enquiries, making and changing appointments, scanning, entering details onto patient database, distributing reports and clinic letters, and posting batteries and hearing aid supplies to patients.
The hours worked will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. (The days and hours can be discussed at interview) There will be some flexibility required to help the service cover annual leave.
Band 2 roles are not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes.
All other roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
