NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an Audio Typist to support clinical teams by delivering accurate transcription and management of patient records. The role operates Monday to Friday on a 26.95-hour per week schedule, with pro-rata salary and base location at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Key duties include transcribing outpatient dictations, maintaining patient data, and processing referrals.

As an Audio Typist within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, you will play a vital role in supporting clinical teams by delivering an efficient and accurate transcription service. Working within Acute Services, you will contribute directly to patient care by ensuring timely communication through high-quality clinical documentation. Band 2 roles are not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes.
All other roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
