About the Role
Join a leading global manufacturer as a Packaging Line Operator and become part of a team responsible for packaging approximately 35 million litres of product annually. This role plays a key part in ensuring safety, quality, and production efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor packaging equipment, including fillers, robots, air pumps, case erectors, and taping machines
- Maintain accurate production and packaging records using SAP
- Troubleshoot equipment and support continuous production improvements
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures while wearing required PPE
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support plant operations
- Work occasional overtime as required
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of manufacturing or production experience
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP or other ERP system experience
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working rotating shifts
Working Conditions
- Rotating 10-hour day and afternoon shifts every two weeks
- Standing, walking, lifting, climbing, pushing/pulling, crouching, and grasping throughout the shift
- PPE required, including the ability to wear a respirator and maintain a clean-shaven face if required
