Winpak is seeking a General Production team member to operate the sit-down forklift, unload finished goods, and support multiple MB lines on-site in Manitoba. The role includes stretch wrapping, packaging line maintenance, and data entry using Excel and MES, with required cross-line flexibility and strong teamwork.
Qualified candidates have a Grade 12 diploma, 6+ months with hand tools (tape measures), and good math skills.
The General Production (MBVS) is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Automatic Wrapping station. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor/Lead Hand, this role includes operating a sit-down forklift to unload finished products from the Auto Packaging lines, as well as loading and unloading resins and finished goods.
Also they will operate stretch wrapping units and perform basic maintenance on this equipment. Lastly, this role involves operating the standalone packaging unit and replacing consumables on both Auto Packaging lines as required. The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to support operations across all MB lines, including Slitters, as needed.
