Job summary

Adecco Canada is hiring Packaging Associates to support our client in the cannabis industry in Smith Falls, ON. You will package and box finished product; handle materials, production reporting, and maintain a safe work environment.

Also supporting propagation, encapsulation and pre-roll departments. We offer weekly pay, strong health and safety programs, medical and dental benefits after qualification, free training, faster onboarding, and a $150 sign-on bonus after 240 hours worked.

Qualifications

• Must have a clear criminal background.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Carry out often repetitive tasks at a high level of quality.
• Willingness and flexibility to complete any task that may be required.
• Must be at least 19 years of age to work in the Cannabis Industry.
• Personal protective equipment required: safety shoes.
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Work with manufacturing team to understand and exceed client expectations.
• Manufacturing experience not required.
• Be a fast learner with strong attention to detail and good time management.
• Operate or work near moving machinery.
• Personal protective equipment: safety shoes.
• Flexibility to work in multiple areas in the facility as demands change.
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction.
• Be part of a highly efficient, dynamic team.
• Work up to 40 hours on a set shift schedule.

Adecco is currently hiring several Packaging Associates to work for our client in the cannabis industry in Smith Falls, ON. In this position you will package and box finished product; be responsible for material handling and production reporting, and maintain a safe work environment. Additionally, we are seeking candidates to support the propagation, encapsulation and pre roll departments.

• Pay Rate: $17.60/hour
• Location: Smith Falls, ON
• Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Working along with the rest of the manufacturing team, you will work to understand and exceed the clients customer expectations.
• Manufacturing experience not required
• You are a fast-learner with strong attention to detail and have excellent time-management skills.
• You will be expected to operate or work near moving machinery.
• Personal protective equipment required: safety shoes
• This position will require the flexibility to work in numerous areas in the facility. This will mean that the exposures/demands may change throughout your placement time.
• Have a proven track record of possessing a proactive mindset in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction.
• You will be a member of a highly efficient team that needs to be dynamic and flexible to respond to business needs, scheduling, and loading
• Able to work a set scheduled shift schedule up to 40 hours
