Job summary

Organigram Global is seeking a Packaging Associate for the DAY SHIFT in Ontario. You will operate filling, capping, packaging and labeling equipment and ensure cleaning, calibration, and hygiene standards are met.

Responsibilities include line clearances, batch transitions, record-keeping under GPP, and compliance with the Cannabis Act. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and a 4/3 rotating schedule with 7:30am–8:00pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to navigate a computer and use Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with GPP and quality control procedures is an asset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks and moderate physical labour.

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as needed for the production process.
• Perform in-process checks to ensure product integrity is maintained throughout the packaging process.
• Follow strict quality control procedures and ensure that batch records are recorded clearly and accurately.
• Ensure documentation complies with Good Production Procedures (GPP).
• Adhere to all regulations under the Cannabis Act, ensuring safe and compliant production practices.
• Follow guidelines for storage of supplies and equipment and disposal of waste.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation for production records.
• Follow both written and verbal directions required to complete tasks effectively.
• Assist with additional tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor to support production goals.

Schedule

• Half Continental rotating shift schedule (Days ONLY): 4 days one week, 3 days the following week
• Sunday through to Saturday (7-day operation). Hours are 7:30am - 8:00pm (12.5 hours)
• Breaks are to be broken up based on team needs and discussed with Supervisor/Manager
