Job summary

Adecco Canada is hiring Packaging Associates for a role in Smith Falls, ON. You will package and box finished product, handle materials and production reporting, and maintain a safe work environment. The position may support propagation, encapsulation and pre-roll departments.

Pay rate is $17.60/hour with weekly pay, health and safety programs, benefits after eligibility, and a $150 sign-on bonus after 240 hours. Strong onboarding and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a clear criminal background.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to carry out often repetitive tasks at a high level of quality.
• Willingness and flexibility to complete any task required.
• Must be at least 19 years of age to work in the Cannabis Industry.
• PPE: safety shoes.
• Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Understand and exceed the client’s customer expectations as part of the manufacturing team.
• Manufacturing experience is not required.
• Be a fast-learner with strong attention to detail and good time management.
• Operate or work near moving machinery.
• PPE: safety shoes required.
• Flexibility to work in multiple areas; responsibilities may change during placement.
• Demonstrate proactive safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction mindset.
• Be part of a highly efficient, dynamic team to meet business needs, scheduling, and loading.
• Able to work a set schedule up to 40 hours.

In this position you will package and box finished product; be responsible for material handling and production reporting, and maintain a safe work environment. Additionally, we are seeking candidates to support the propagation, encapsulation and pre roll departments.

• Pay Rate: $17.60/hour

• Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Working along with the rest of the manufacturing team, you will work to understand and exceed the clients customer expectations.

• This position will require the flexibility to work in numerous areas in the facility. This will mean that the exposures/demands may change throughout your placement time.

• You will be a member of a highly efficient team that needs to be dynamic and flexible to respond to business needs, scheduling, and loading
• Able to work a set scheduled shift schedule up to 40 hours
