Job summary

Adecco Canada is hiring Packaging Associates for a role in Smith Falls, ON. You will package and box finished product, handle material flow, and support propagation, encapsulation and pre-roll departments.

This temporary to full-time position offers a structured shift from 6:00am to 4:00pm with weekly pay and benefits after qualification. Applicants must be at least 19, legally eligible to work in Canada, and able to work near moving machinery with proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Package and box finished product alongside manufacturing team.
• Support propagation, encapsulation and pre-roll departments as needed.
• Operate near moving machinery with appropriate PPE (safety shoes).
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment.
• Contribute to safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction initiatives.
• Be flexible to work across various facility areas and shifts.
• Routinely meet customer expectations and deadlines.

Adecco is currently hiring several Packaging Associates to work for our client in the cannabis industry in Smith Falls, ON. In this position you will package and box finished product; be responsible for material handling and production reporting, and maintain a safe work environment. Additionally, we are seeking candidates to support the propagation, encapsulation and pre roll departments.

• Pay Rate: $17.60/hour
• Location: Smith Falls, ON
• Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Working along with the rest of the manufacturing team, you will work to understand and exceed the clients customer expectations.
• Manufacturing experience not required
• You are a fast-learner with strong attention to detail and have excellent time-management skills.
• You will be expected to operate or work near moving machinery.
• Personal protective equipment required: safety shoes
• This position will require the flexibility to work in numerous areas in the facility. This will mean that the exposures/demands may change throughout your placement time.
• Have a proven track record of possessing a proactive mindset in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction.
• You will be a member of a highly efficient team that needs to be dynamic and flexible to respond to business needs, scheduling, and loading
• Able to work a set scheduled shift schedule up to 40 hours
