Job summary

Bison Transport Inc is seeking an experienced Recruiter focused on Class 1/AZ Owner-Operator recruitment to fuel our growing Owner-Operator fleet. You will build pipelines, source candidates, and guide them through onboarding with a consultative, sales-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in high-volume Owner-Operator recruitment, strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, and proficiency with Workday and digital recruitment tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume Class 1/AZ Owner-Operator recruitment experience.
• Proven success sourcing, selling, onboarding Owner-Operators and Drivers.
• Knowledge of Owner-Operator business models, compensation, and trends.
• Strong relationship-building, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Results-driven with targets; customer-focused candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies for Class 1/AZ Owner-Operators.
• Build a robust pipeline via direct sourcing, referrals, and industry contacts.
• Promote Owner-Operator opportunities and Bison's value proposition.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, and assess fit.
• Coordinate onboarding and collaborate with Operations on fleet needs.
• Maintain candidate records in Workday and recruitment systems.
• Analyze market trends to support recruitment strategies.
