Job summary

Bison Transport Inc is seeking Company Drivers for Canada/US long-haul routes. This role involves on-road schedules with 10,000–12,000 miles monthly, weekend departures, and open-board freight across North America. You should be able to operate in diverse terrains and freight types, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Eligible candidates must have 24 months tractor-trailer experience, be U.S. qualified, hold a valid Class 1/AZ license, and be willing to lift 50 lbs or more as

Qualifications

• Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be U.S. qualified.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months Highway 17 experience.
• CP Rail experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more; driver assist required.
• Must be reliable, flexible and punctual; safety is valued.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate long-haul routes Canada/US with 10,000–12,000 miles monthly.
• Be available for weekend departures and flexible scheduling.
• Adhere to safety rules and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Maintain compliance with Clearinghouse guidelines and company policies.

Job description

$1500 Sign on Bonus. Earn an avg. of $6900/month. Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 10 days at a time, averaging 10K to 12K miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month. Resets on the road as required. Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories.

• Required to drive 17 in Ontario, 12 months a year
• Required to drive U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year
• Averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month (regional freight will be required)
• Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures
• Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol

Candidate Profile:

• Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Must be U.S. qualified
• Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
