Job summary

Bison Transport Inc is seeking an experienced Owner-Operator in Canada, Division No. 11, Saskatoon. The role involves long-haul freight travel, requiring drivers to be on the road for 10 to 14 days, covering up to 12,000 miles monthly.

The ideal candidate has at least 24 months of tractor-trailer experience, a valid Class 1 / A/Z license, and is committed to safety and reliability. A sign-on bonus of $3000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Owner-Operator with at least 24 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must have a tractor equipped with a DEF system.
• U.S. qualified with a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience.
• Minimum of 6 months Highway 17 driving experience (Ontario).
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Be on the road 10 to 14 days at a time, averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month.
• Available for dispatch 24 days a month and reset on the road.
• Run open-board long-haul freight into the U.S. and Canada.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with weekend departures.

$3000 Sign on Bonus. Receive pay on time, 100% reliably.

Responsibilities

• Be on the road 10 to 14 days at a time, averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month.
• Available for dispatch 24 days a month and reset on the road as required.
• Run open-board long-haul freight: Canada/U.S. southbound freight from any Bison location into any Low‑48 state; northbound freight into any Canadian province or territory.
• Cover regional freight, averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with weekend departures.

Qualifications

• Owner‑Operator with at least 24 months of tractor‑trailer experience.
• Must have a tractor equipped with a DEF system.
• U.S. qualified; minimum of 6 months of U.S. driving experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of Highway 17 driving experience (Ontario).
• Capability to drive U.S. mountains 12 months of the year.
• CP Rail experience preferred.
• Valid Class 1 / A/Z license.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more (driver assist required occasionally).
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and strong communication skills.
• Values safety.
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol ClearingHouse.
