Home Instead is seeking experienced overnight Personal Support Workers (PSW) in Peterborough and Lindsay, ON. The role focuses on safety, comfort, and nighttime routines with opportunities for advancement in dementia and palliative care.

Competitive pay of $20.00-$22.00/hour, paid mileage and travel time, and flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time opportunities. A supportive team and paid onboarding help you grow from day one.

Qualificações

• PSW certificate required or equivalent training.
• Experience with overnight or complex care preferred.
• Comfort with dementia, cognitive decline, or limited mobility.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with evening hygiene and bedtime routines.
• Providing overnight supervision and responding to needs.
• Supporting mobility, transfers and toileting during the night.
• Performing light housekeeping to keep a restful environment.
• Offering companionship and reassurance if clients wake during the night.
• Documenting observations and reporting concerns to the care team.

What You'll Be Doing on Overnight Shifts

As an overnight PSW with Home Instead, you will ensure safety, comfort, and peace of mind for clients while supporting their nighttime routines. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with evening hygiene and bedtime routines.

• Supporting mobility, transfers, and toileting during the night.

• Offering companionship and reassurance if clients wake during the night.

What We’re Looking For
