Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is hiring Freight Team Associates to stock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and assist customers with their projects. The role involves operating reach trucks, forklifts, and order picker machines, picking orders, packing carefully, and labeling items for holding areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or distribution experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock.
• Pack and unpack merchandise as directed; merchandize new items and promotions.
• Maintain aisle cleanliness and ensure merchandise is accessible and visually appealing.
• Communicate with freight team members to ensure proper stocking locations.
• Follow Home Depot's customer service model: greet, engage, and thank customers.
• Move freight safely using appropriate equipment and ensure safe aisle movement.
