Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Calgary is seeking a Freight Team Associate to stock merchandise, organize the sales floor, and assist customers as needed. You will operate reach trucks, forklifts, and order picker machines to bring down merchandise and accurately label and place orders into holding areas.

Responsibilities include packing orders, merchandising promotions, maintaining clean aisles, and collaborating with team members to ensure in-stock levels and safe operations in a busy warehouse

Qualifications

Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
1 to 2 years Retail or Distribution experience an asset.
Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines an asset.

Responsibilities

Stock merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock.
Pack-out and pack-down merchandise as directed.
Merchandising new items and promotions.
Maintain aisle cleanliness and shoppability so merchandise is accessible and visually appealing.
Communicate with freight team members to ensure correct stocking areas.
Follow the Get Model of Customer Service: Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking customers.
Move freight safely from staging areas using appropriate equipment.
