Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Freight Team Associate to stock and organize merchandise, assist customers, and operate material-handling equipment on-site. You will help maintain 100% in-stock levels and ensure a safe shopping environment while packing and labeling orders for efficient pickup.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in retail or distribution, a willingness to work nights or weekends, and familiarity with forklifts and reach trucks. Training provided for equipment use.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail or distribution experience considered an asset.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts and order picker machines is an asset.
• Flexible schedule including overnights, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise on shelves to maintain full in-stock levels.
• Pack out/down merchandise and merchandise new items and promotions.
• Maintain clean, safe, and accessible aisles and organize overheads.
• Ensure proper labeling and holding areas for orders.
• Assist customers and follow Home Depot’s Get Model of Customer Service.
