Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Halifax is hiring Overnight Freight Team Associates to stock shelves and organize the sales floor, creating a safe and pleasant shopping environment. The role supports 100% in-stock levels and efficient customer order fulfillment.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with evening/overnight shifts, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and capable of working independently or with a team. forklift experience is a plus; training is provided for computer tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to work evenings and overnights.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs repeatedly and uses appropriate equipment.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Detail oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Self-motivated to complete tasks quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Stocking products and merchandise on the sales floor.
• Verifying inventory and maintaining 100% stock levels.
• Organizing the sales floor to create a safe shopping environment.
• Obtaining pick lists and gathering merchandise for customer orders.
• Communicating with overnight team members to ensure accuracy.
• Moving freight safely using appropriate equipment.
