Job summary

RONA in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth product flow by receiving deliveries, sorting and unpacking stock, and maintaining accurate inventory. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, schedule deliveries, and uphold high safety standards while contributing to a well-organized store and excellent customer service.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
