Job summary

Blackline Safety Corp. is seeking an Alert Management Specialist for an overnight shift. You will monitor real-time safety alerts, respond to emergencies, and provide frontline support to customers from the Calgary area.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping and proactive communication to protect lone workers. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in customer service, fluency in Spanish and English, and comfort using technology to manage data.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Emergency Management, Public Safety, Customer Service Management, or related field considered an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
• Fluent written & spoken Spanish and English is required.
• Proficiency in French, Arabic, Portuguese are an asset in this role.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates attention to data accuracy and security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer personnel safety through real-time alert systems.
• Efficiently manage emergency alerts following escalation protocols.
• Respond to critical situations calmly and confidently under pressure.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and technical support for triggered alerts.
• Monitor weather and road conditions for lone workers and inform them of hazards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on safety incidents and resolutions.
