Job summary

Enviros Calgary is seeking an After Hours Supervisor to support live-in programs, oversee weekend overnight on-call operations, and promote safety for residents and staff.

The role combines administrative, training and direct client support, with coordination of awake overnight shifts and scheduling relief. Strong communication and crisis-management skills are essential.

Applicants should have a Human Service credential, experience with youth, and current safety checks.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in the Human Service field.
• Experience with youth in a group living environment.
• Trauma-informed practices awareness.
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
• Current Alberta Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector.
• Current Alberta Intervention Record check.
• Valid First Aid and CPR.
• Assist and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training within 6 months would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate awake overnight staff and schedule relief coverage for weekends.
• Oversee and support live-in program operations Friday–Monday and overnight shifts.
• Attend monthly leadership meetings and align with Enviros plans.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation training for new employees; especially awake overnight teams.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed; communicate with program supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with Alberta protocols and internal policies; exercise professional judgment.
