Outside Sales Representative, Refrigeration
The Outside Sales Representative, Refrigeration will be responsible for representing the company to assigned customers within their territory. They must collaborate with department members to meet customer requirements with the goal of increasing sales and profits. The role involves developing and leveraging the Master value proposition, based on understanding customer challenges and business objectives. The representative is tasked with finding, qualifying, and onboarding new accounts through outbound prospecting methods.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Provide product solutions for incoming inquiries;
- Review and evaluate plans and specifications;
- Cross-reference parts or equipment based on requirements to meet customer needs;
- Assist with projects and collaborate with mechanical contractors and engineers;
- Prepare quotations based on project plans/specifications and complete proposals;
- Prepare technical drawings and data sheets for client approval;
- Provide material lists and quotations to contractors via written and verbal communication;
- Respond to calls and written communications from clients, branch, and external representatives;
- Process orders according to company policies while communicating with all relevant parties;
- Follow up with clients post-order to ensure satisfaction;
- Ensure project take-offs are accurate and complete;
- Manage projects and coordinate with mechanical contractors;
- Inform clients of standard procedures;
- Follow up to ensure full customer satisfaction;
- Resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and policy adherence;
- Coordinate with internal and external departments to meet customer needs;
- Respond to inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services.
What You Bring to Our Team:
- Post-secondary education in Refrigeration or related discipline;
- 3-5 years of wholesale refrigeration experience;
- Knowledge of brands such as Copeland, Tecumseh, Refplus, KE2, Bitzer, Sporlan, Keeprite, Mars, Messer;
- Experience in refrigeration & hydronics;
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software;
- Willingness to learn industry specifics;
- Sales training (asset);
- Commitment to customer service excellence;
- Professional communication skills;
- Self-motivated, organized, with strong interpersonal skills;
- Persuasive sales abilities and closing skills;
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment;

Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 annually
Additional compensation includes commission and annual bonus.
