Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in Oakville or Milton. You will prospect and onboard new accounts, develop strategies to grow sales within existing base, and maintain a robust pipeline.

Regular CRM updates, strategy meetings, and cross-team collaboration are key aspects of the role. Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years in electrical distribution sales, a proven ability to hit targets, strong communication and negotiation skills, and CRM experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience in the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to build/maintain productive relationships.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to communicate with customers regularly.
• Experience with a CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and onboard new accounts
• Develop strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer account base
• Conduct the required number of weekly account visits to achieve determined account coverage
• Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives
• Attend weekly strategy meetings with Regional Sales Manager and team
• Ensure all sales activities are properly documented in the company CRM, on an ongoing basis
• Facilitate industry-leading customer service between project, branch and operational teams

Job Description

As an Outside Sales Representative based in Oakville or Milton, your essential duties will be to:

• Prospect and onboard new accounts
• Develop strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer account base
• Conduct the required number of weekly account visits to achieve determined account coverage
• Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives
• Attend weekly strategy meetings with Regional Sales Manager and team meetings when scheduled
• Ensure all sales activities are properly documented in the company CRM, on an ongoing basis
• Facilitate industry-leading customer service between project, branch and operational teams

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sales experience within the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to build/maintain productive relationships
• Track record of achieving sales targets
• Outstanding communication skills, to communicate effectively with all current and prospective customers on a regular basis
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Experience with a CRM software

Additional Information

• The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 60000 – 75000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
