What you will do:

  • Strengthen relationships with current design clients to support ongoing collaboration and sales.
  • Re-engage former clients and rebuild relationships with designers who previously worked with TAPS.
  • Collaborate with existing vendor partners to introduce new product offerings, with a focus on expanding relationships with new vendors.
  • Plan and coordinate CEU events with vendor partners to educate and engage the design community.
  • Research industry trends to develop and implement a designer rewards program aimed at driving business growth.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive Designer Database, including regular communication through e-blasts, product launches, and promotional updates.
  • Act as a liaison with the Wolseley Marketing Team to enhance social media presence, showcase designer projects, and improve internal content in partnership with vendors.
  • Coordinate internal and external events, including planning event types, target audiences, and execution with vendor partners and internal teams.
  • Assist in the selection of showroom displays based on insights into designer needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with custom home builders to support furnishing and project needs.

What you will bring:

  • Strong understanding of the interior design and home building industry, including trends, client expectations, and the design process.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, kitchen, and bath products, as well as showroom operations is required.
  • Knowledge of vendor and supplier relationship management, including new product sourcing and partnership development.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback to develop loyalty or rewards programs.
  • Consistently meeting deadlines within a fast-paced work environment and works effectively within time constraints
  • Strong ability to work independently to efficiently manage the assigned territory and accounts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships;
  • Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment;
  • Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking.
