Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Cobourg/Port Hope Ontario is seeking an Account Development Specialist to build and nurture relationships with existing and new customers, promoting NAPA parts and programs across the district.

You will collaborate with regional teams to implement sales development initiatives, analyze market trends, and drive district success with both existing customers and new prospects. This full-time role involves travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales, account management, or business development in automotive aftermarket is an asset.

• Valid G driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Call on installers to sell NAPA auto parts and programs; collaborate with regional and corporate sales teams.
• Implement sales development plans and support district/regional strategies and promotions.
• Develop sales plans with District Sales Manager and Store managers to grow business with existing customers.
• Gather market intelligence and report service or product issues to store managers and district sales manager.
• Make pricing recommendations and assist in collections and adherence to buying conditions.

Job Description

The Account Development Specialist is the image, face, and voice of NAPA. You are accountable for building and maintaining quality business relationships with existing and new customers by implementing National, Regional and District-level sales development initiatives and promoting NAPA auto parts and programs. The ADS contributes to keeping NAPA abreast of customer behavior, competitive threats, and market trends. You will participate in the development and refinement of sales development initiatives at the district level.

This is a regular full-time position and is located in Cobourg / Port Hope Ontario.

Salary Range: $56,100 - $70,100 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Specific responsibilities are:

• Make pricing recommendations on accounts and assist in collections and in ensuring accounts adhere to buying conditions.

Qualifications
