American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Quebec who will drive growth by purchasing scrap metal, promoting new business, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role combines field visits with strategic pricing decisions, requiring a proactive, results-driven professional.

You will spend most of your time travelling to dealerships and industrial suppliers, negotiating terms, and coordinating with the commercial team to ensure accurate documentation and

Competenze

• College diploma in business, sales, marketing or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in the recycling industry or related sales role an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license; travel across territory is required.

Mansioni

• Purchase scrap metal to meet tonnage targets and optimize margins.
• Visit dealerships and industrial suppliers in person or by phone to develop new business and service existing customers.
• Prospect for new customers by visiting individuals and small businesses; build a network of contacts for market trends.
• Negotiate contracts, analyze P&L, and price decisions informed by yard operations and processing activities.
• Coordinate with administrative staff to document transactions and support the commercial team.
• Spend approximately 80% of time on the road and 20% in the office; mentor team members as needed.
