Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow the market in targeted sectors and build strong client relationships across Canada. The role involves negotiating terms, coordinating with operations and logistics, and collaborating with dealers, recycling centers, and suppliers.

You will travel to client locations, maintain an excellent sales pipeline, and contribute to AIM's position as a global leader in metal recycling with a commitment to environmental

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or business degree required.
• Valid G license and clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of sales experience.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Bilingual French and English.

Responsibilities

• Actively reach out and develop potential clients in targeted sectors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as scrap dealers, recycling centers, and logistics providers.
• Negotiate purchasing terms, pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with clients or suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams including operations, finance, marketing, logistics, and customer service.
• Travel to different locations, primarily supporting Cornwall.

We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative, responsible for the development of the market in the

What you’re responsible for:

• Actively reaching out and developing potential clients in targeted sectors
• Collaborating with stakeholders such as scrap dealers, recycling centers, andlogistics providers
• Working directly with clients or suppliers to negotiate purchasing, pricing payment terms and delivery schedules
• Effectively collaborating with various internal teams such as operations, finance, marketing, logistics, and customer service
• Travelling to different locations, mainly supporting Cornwall

Qualifications

To join our team:

• You have a post-secondary diploma or business degree
• Have a valid G drivers license and clean drivers abstract
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a sales role or similar
• You have good numeracy skills
• You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft programs (outlook, word, excel, etc)
• You are bilingual (French and English)
