Job description

We are seeking an Outside Sales Manager to join and support our expanding sales team at Hybrid Power Solutions. The ideal candidate will be an energetic go-getter who embodies our company values.

The candidate should be versatile, with experience in account management, strategic growth planning, and creating end-user demand within the construction, mining, military, and transit verticals. A basic understanding of power and generator systems and a willingness to lead market entry are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Cold call or visit construction sites, transit locations, commercial, and customer sites to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Build positive relationships with end users and account representatives within the assigned region.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing by staying informed about supply, demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Achieve sales metrics and report progress regularly.
  • Enhance professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and professional societies.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years in account management or sales.
  • Experience with industrial or commercial contractors.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sales plans.
  • Monitoring and achieving sales goals.
  • Management and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience developing and adhering to budgets.
  • Mentoring and coaching sales teams.
  • Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Trade Electrical.
