Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks Canada in London, Ontario, is hiring an Account Representative (Outside Sales) to maximize forklift sales within a defined territory and existing accounts. You will develop new business, consult with customers, and present tailored solutions to drive revenue.

This role reports to the Sales Manager and requires 3–5 years of sales experience, a business degree, and strong communication skills. Competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a sales representative.
• University Degree or College Diploma in Business or a related field.
• Proven success in developing new business opportunities.
• Confidence in public speaking settings.
• Some experience with complex contract negotiations is an asset.
• Ability to break into long-standing competitive accounts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Superior customer service attributes.
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Computer literate with Microsoft products, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the sale of lift trucks within a territory and grow accounts.
• Develop existing accounts and identify new prospects.
• Consult and assist customers with tailored solutions.
• Develop and execute a territory management plan.
• Prepare proposals, forecasts, quotations, and correspondence.
• Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Maintain records of sales calls and CRM activity.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager on strategies.
• Attend training programs to enhance product knowledge.
• Support team initiatives and assist in resolving issues as needed.
