Hamstra Carpet One Floor & Home in Strathroy, Ontario, is seeking a driven Commercial Flooring Outside Sales & Business Development Representative to grow commercial flooring business across Southwestern Ontario. You will build relationships with senior living communities, property managers, builders and multi-unit owners, driving growth and profitability.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Drive commercial sales growth and project profitability with owners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the owners to drive commercial sales growth & project profitability
• Identify & pursue new business opportunities
• Build & maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
• Create a consistent pipeline of new commercial opportunities
• Conduct job site visits & customer meetings to understand project needs
• Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided
• Measure spaces, product suggestions, estimate materials, prepare proposals & negotiate opportunities, manage payments, oversee project quality
• Develop strategies for increasing the company's presence in commercial & builder markets
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts & activity reporting
• Prospect for new accounts through networking, referrals, outreach, site visits & industry connections
• Track sales pipeline & follow up consistently to convert opportunities into profitable business

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' proven work experience in Commercial/Outside Sales, Territory Sales Representative, Commercial Flooring Sales, Strategic Account Manager, or similar role
• Valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
• Able to pass a background check (REQUIRED)
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Claude AI & Claude Code or similar, Spreadsheets & CRM data management
• Fundamental tech, social media & math skills
• Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business
• Personal & professional ethics
• Leadership & relationship building skills
• Ability to achieve sales targets effectively
• Analytical skills to identify market trends & sales patterns
