Cabco Technologies in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking a safety-focused Outside Plant Line Technician to join our growing team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years of telecommunications/outside plant experience.
• Experience with aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Air Brake Endorsement and fiber splicing experience are assets.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure.
• Install strand, coaxial, and fiber‑optic cable.
• Safely operate bucket trucks, cable trailers, and related equipment.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair outside plant network equipment.
• Read and interpret network designs, maps, and construction drawings.
• Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
