Job summary

Arc’teryx Equipment in Canada seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead a dynamic team, uphold the Arc’teryx Vision, and drive best-in-class guest experiences. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to manage floor leadership, training, and development while delivering bold objectives in store and community initiatives.

You’ll coach a high-performing team, oversee onboarding to offboarding, and align staffing with business needs. A passion for outdoor lifestyle and guest service is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of leadership and retail management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, train, lead and develop future leaders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and customer service.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and expense-control capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support floor oversight across experience, product, community operations and people.
• Train, coach and empower the team through Arc’teryx Guest Journey.
• Develop a store leadership pipeline with the Store Manager.
• Oversee onboarding through offboarding and performance management.
• Collaborate on store events to support brand mission and community.
• Evaluate staffing needs quarterly to align with business demand.
