Job Description

Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouse supplies Annuals to Home Depots in Western Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Home Depot Garden Center in Whiterock, BC.

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the annuals in the Home Depots and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work hard, pay attention to details, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They ensure the visual display and integrity of our products, including pricing and inventory management.

Note: Shifts are outdoors in the Garden Centre – rain or shine, and sometimes snow in the early season!

• Complete tasks from start to finish with 100% effort.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work: able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull and reach with repetitive movements.
• Unloading carts of product onto tables and/or carts.
• Pricing products appropriately when required.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Maintaining merchandise displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Being on your feet for long periods, walking over 20,000 steps per shift.
• Being self-driven, prioritizing time and duties effectively.
• High energy levels and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Smartphone with data plan for email, photos, and apps.
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• CSA steel-toed shoes are required during shifts.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour.

Experience: Merchandising experience of 1 year required.
