Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouse supplies Annuals to Home Depot in Western Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hardworking individuals to merchandise our product at our Home Depot Garden Center in Langley, BC.

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the annuals in the Home Depot and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work diligently, pay attention to detail, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They are responsible for the visual display, integrity of our products, pricing, and inventory management.

Shifts are spent outdoors in the Garden Centre – rain or shine, and sometimes snow in the early season!

• Must be a team player – open to working with all team members.
• Positive attitude – approach all situations positively!
• Complete your job from start to finish, ensuring it has been approached with 100% effort before handing it off.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Physical work – able to lift 50 lbs.
2. Ability to push/pull and reach – repetitive movements.
3. Unloading carts of product onto tables and/or carts.
4. Pricing appropriately if required.
5. Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
6. Merchandising displays according to Rainbow standards.
7. Ability to be on your feet for long periods, walking 20,000+ steps per shift.
8. Self-driven, able to prioritize time and duties.
9. High energy level.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
11. Attention to detail.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Smartphone with data plan (email, phone, photos, apps).
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• CSA steel-toed shoes required for the duration of the shift.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent people skills, adaptability, self-direction, organizational skills, problem-solving, physically capable of manual labor.
