Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouse supplies Annuals to Home Depots in Western Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product at our Home Depot Garden Center in Richmond, BC.

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the annuals in the Home Depots and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work hard, pay attention to details, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They are responsible for visual displays, product integrity, pricing, and inventory management.

Note: Shifts are spent outside in the Garden Centre – rain or shine, and sometimes in snow early in the season.

• Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
• Complete tasks thoroughly, ensuring quality when handing off work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Physical work: able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull and reach, involving repetitive movements.
• Unloading carts of product onto tables and/or carts.
• Pricing products appropriately as required.
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
• Merchandising displays according to Rainbow standards.
• Being on your feet for long periods, walking over 20,000 steps per shift.
• Being self-driven, prioritizing time and duties effectively.
• Maintaining high energy levels.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Paying close attention to detail.
• Working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Smartphone with data plan for email, phone, photos, and apps.
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required.
• CSA steel-toed shoes required for the shift duration.

Preferred Skills: Excellent people skills, adaptability, self-direction, organizational skills, problem-solving, and physical capability for manual labor.
