Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouse supplies Annuals to Home Depot in Western Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hardworking individuals to merchandise our products at our Home Depot Garden Center in South Surrey, BC.

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of annuals in Home Depot, restocking products, and maintaining visual displays. Successful merchandisers work diligently, pay attention to detail, follow directions thoroughly, and are self-motivated. They ensure the visual appeal, pricing, and inventory management of our products.

Note: Shifts are spent outdoors in the Garden Centre – rain or shine, and sometimes snow early in the season.

• Must be a team player and open to collaborating with all team members.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
• Complete tasks from start to finish with 100% effort before handing off.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Performing physical work, able to lift 50 lbs.
2. Ability to push, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
3. Unloading carts of product onto tables or carts.
4. Pricing products appropriately when required.
5. Reporting inventory needs to supervisors.
6. Merchandising displays according to Rainbow standards.
7. Standing for long periods, often walking over 20,000 steps per shift.
8. Being self-driven, prioritizing time and duties effectively.
9. Maintaining high energy levels.
10. Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
11. Paying close attention to detail.
12. Working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Smartphone with data plan for email, calls, photos, and apps.
• Personal and reliable vehicle is preferred but not required.
• CSA steel-toed shoes are required for the duration of each shift.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent people skills, adaptability, organization, problem-solving, and physical capability for manual labor.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
