Job summary

A prominent art foundation in Canada is seeking a Manager, Major Gifts to drive art philanthropy efforts. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of fundraising experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage donor relationships. Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in arts management, philanthropy, business, or related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive fundraising experience, with a strong record of securing major gifts ($25,000+).
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong writing and presentation abilities for conveying the importance of art and culture.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal portfolio of major gift donors and prospects.
• Partner with the CEO and volunteer leaders to secure transformational gifts.
• Identify and engage new donor prospects nationally and internationally.
• Work collaboratively with the CEO and the Stewardship team.
• Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser’s Edge (or equivalent CRM).
• Support forecasting and progress reporting toward annual fundraising goals.
