Job description

Sia Western Canada is looking to grow the Calgary team. We are seeking exceptional consulting professionals with a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, and hands-on experience in business processes or technology projects.

NOTE:

You must be local to Calgary and surrounding areas and willing to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work and on-site presence.

  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada, holding either Permanent Residency or full Citizenship. We cannot cover relocation expenses at this time.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Organizational Change Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and implementing successful change management initiatives within complex organizations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and drive change at all organizational levels.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.
  • Develop comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to convey the vision, goals, and progress of change initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather stakeholder input and feedback.

Implementation and Execution:

  • Lead the execution of change management plans, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  • Develop training and development programs to help employees adapt to change.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients to sustain change and promote continuous improvement.

Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering their professional growth.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in change management and share knowledge with the team.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients to enhance change management capabilities.
  • Create customized training materials and resources tailored to organizational needs to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an asset.
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or similar recognized certification is highly desirable.
  • 5-10 years of experience in organizational change management, preferably within consulting, utilities, IT, banking, or HR environments.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies; SCRUM or Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with diverse industries and understanding various business models.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
