Express Employment Professionals Guelph is seeking an experienced Order Picker / Material Handler for a busy manufacturing environment in Guelph, Ontario. You will operate a forklift, pick orders, and help prep materials for production.

This full-time midnight shift runs 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with overtime as truck schedules demand. Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license/certification and strong forklift driving experience.
• Previous warehouse/material handling experience.
• Manufacturing or production experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
• Pick orders accurately and build skids for shipment.
• Feed raw materials to production lines and remove finished materials.
• Pre-plan materials needed for the morning shift.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Organize inventory in racks and designated warehouse areas.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Receive, label and organize incoming materials.
• Complete inventory and material movements within the ERP system.
• Maintain general housekeeping throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Assist with production when required.
• Take initiative and keep busy without constant supervision.

THIS IS A STRAIGHT MIDNIGHT SHIFT - 11:00 PM TO 7:00 AM.
This is a key requirement of the position. The successful candidate must be comfortable working a consistent overnight schedule.
