Express Employment Professionals Guelph is recruiting for a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join a growing team in Fergus, ON. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent position.

The role requires operating a forklift about 70% of the time, loading and unloading materials, and performing general warehouse duties. Must have reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Starting wage is $22–$23/hour with Monday–Friday afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift approximately 70% of the time to move and organize materials.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift approximately70% of the timeto move and organize materials
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Move bins of material to grinding machines and recycling equipment
• Assist with warehouse duties including:
• Using box cutters
• Operating mechanical tippers (training provided)
• Using pallet jacks
• Assisting with material movement using leaf blowers to help move material through chutes
• Perform general labour duties as required
• Safely change propane tanks on forklifts when needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and move bins/material weighing approximately55 lbs
• Comfortable performing repetitive physical work, including lifting, standing, and moving materials
• Ability to safely transport materials to machines and recycling areas

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Experience changing propane tanks on forklifts required
• Strong attention to safety and following procedures
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to work hard and contribute to a team
• Mechanical equipment experience is an asset (training provided)
