Job summary

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator in Fergus, Ontario for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent role in a manufacturing and warehouse setting. You will move materials, support shipping/receiving, and assist inventory control while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires forklift operation experience, certification, and the ability to lift 25–30 kg. Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, CAD 22/hour with weekly pay and benefits after qualification.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or production.
• Forklift certification or proven forklift operating experience.
• Experience with shipping and receiving, material handling, or warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift 25-30 kg (55-66 lbs) regularly.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products and materials.
• Perform shipping, receiving, packing, unpacking, sorting, counting, and weighing activities.
• Assist with inventory control, order preparation, and material replenishment.
• Support the repackaging of materials and products as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, shipping, and production areas.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and operational procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts, material verification, and other warehouse duties as required.

Adecco is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in forklift operation, material handling, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, and production support.

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility while supporting manufacturing, inventory, and shipping operations. If you are safety-focused, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

• Pay Rate: $22/hour

• Location: Fergus, ON

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

• Inventory control experience is considered an asset.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills is considered an asset.

• Experience working with plastic resin materials is considered an asset.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is considered an asset.

• Material testing experience is considered an asset.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
