Job summary

RONA is hiring a forklift operator for our distribution center in Varennes, QC. You will load, unload, and store products, inspect equipment, prepare orders, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while supporting customer service.

We seek individuals capable of physical work, with strong organization, attention to detail, and good teamwork and communication. Prior warehouse experience is a plus; training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 23 kg) in varied outdoor conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with clear communication and ability to adapt to priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and store products according to standards.
• Inspect equipment, loads, and products for compliance and report issues.
• Prepare and assemble orders, prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with warehouse and yard maintenance.
• Record returns and stock adjustments in the system.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service using SMART principles.
